FAQ

  • How to judge whether a motorcycle carburetor needs to be replaced?

    形状 Created with Sketch.
Common reasons why a motorcycle carburetor needs to be replaced include:
    1. Starting difficulties: The engine is difficult to start or quickly stalls after starting.
    2. Increased fuel consumption: Carburetor failure may cause improper fuel mixing ratio, which in turn leads to abnormally high fuel consumption.
    3. Unstable engine operation: The engine idle speed is unstable, the acceleration is weak, or the engine vibration is significantly increased.
    4. Oil leakage or gas leakage: There are obvious oil stains or gasoline smell on the surface of the carburetor, which may be caused by damaged seals.
  • What is the cleaning and maintenance frequency of the carburetor?

    形状 Created with Sketch.
Motorcycle carburetors should be cleaned and maintained regularly to ensure their normal operation. Generally speaking, it is recommended to clean and inspect them every 5,000-8,000 kilometers.
    Maintenance steps include:
    1. Clean the oil circuit and fuel injection port.
    2. Check and clean the air filter.
    3. Check the quality of the fuel to prevent moisture or impurities from entering the carburetor.
  • What is the cause of carburetor oil leakage?

Common causes of carburetor oil leakage include:
    1. Poor sealing: The sealing gasket and O-ring are aged, worn or improperly installed.
    2. Overflow of the float chamber: If the float fails, it may cause excessive fuel overflow.
    3. The float chamber is too high: There is too much fuel in the float chamber, which may cause overflow.
    4. Cracks in the carburetor body: Cracks in the carburetor shell may also cause oil leakage.
  • What should I pay attention to when installing the carburetor?

    1. Make sure the carburetor is firmly connected to the engine to avoid looseness.
    2. Check the fuel pipe connection to ensure that the fuel pipe is not aged, cracked or leaking.
    3. Install the air filter to prevent impurities from entering the carburetor.
    4. Adjust the position of the carburetor and the float position to ensure normal operation.
  • Is there a warranty period for motorcycle carburetors?
